Growing in Christ; Sharing His love in God's Word

At Messiah Lutheran Church we focus on digging into God's Word not only on Sunday morning, but also throughot the week.  When we are in God's Word the Holy Spirit points us to Christ and Him crucified for us sinners (I Corinthians 1:23).  We encourage everyone to be in God's Word in the following ways:

  • Sunday Morning Bible study & Sunday School @ 10:20.  We invite everyone to receive the Holy Spirit in God's Word for all ages.
  • Assigned Scripture Readings throughout the week.  Each Sunday we follow assigned Scripture readings that focus our heart, soul, and mind to the major highlights of the Holy Bible.  To prepare for worship on Sunday mornings we encourage people to digest those readings during the week.  The plan is made available at church.
  • Portals of Prayer.  We make available this precious devotional to all who come to Messiah as a simple way to be in God's Word throughout the week no matter your circumstance.
